Location

On the second floor of our diving centre you find two simple room that you can rent. From the terrace you have a great view over the Unawatuna bay and can watch the fantastic sunsets.

Quality of accomodation
All rooms and cabanas are equiped with beds, bed sheets and towels and have individual toilets and showers.
Hot water is provided by a solar water system.
A ceiling fan is mounted above the bed. Mosquito nets will be provided on demand.
Please bring your own beach towels.

Attention! Don't get fooled by touts and "helpful" locals!

Frequently tuk-tuk drivers and "helpful" locals bring unsuspecting tourist to the wrong destination. They want to earn a commission from cheating tourists.
Insist on being brought to "Unawatuna Diving Centre" on the main road (Matara Road). On the outside of our building you can clearly read our name. Insist on meeting Sumith or Chaminda.
Don't believe the tale of "They are closed after Tsunami" or "They are fully booked"!
We are open, and everything works fine.

Prices above if you book a minimum of 3consecutive nights. If you want to stay 1-2 nights we charge additional 25%.


All prices in Euro per night and room.

Breakfast: on demand (ca. 2.50 € per person).

Cleaning and bed sheets: All rooms and cabanas (incl. bath) are cleaned daily. Every 4 days we'll change your bedsheets and provide fresh towels.

Extra bed
Additional bed for one person will be charged at an additional 25% of the double room price.

Cancellation Costs
Cancellation 30 days before the booking date 50 % of the total room charge
Cancellation 10 days before the booking date 75 % of the total room charge

Arrival and Departure
Check in time is 2:00 p.m., check out time is 11:00 a.m. 50% of the room rate will be charged for late check out before 6:00 p.m. and the full day room rate will be charged after 6:00 p.m.

Safe Deposit of Valuables
A Safe Deposit Box is available at Rockside Guest House and Cabanas and at the Unawatuna Diving Centre. The Rockside Guest House and Cabanas and the Unawatuna Diving Centre are not responsible for the loss of any valuables in the guestrooms and cabanas.
